What you’ll need
- ·A full driver’s licence, New Zealand or overseas. We cannot hire to restricted licences.
- ·To be 25 or over.
- ·Drivers aged 21 to 24 can hire, but the bond is $2,500 and excess reduction is not available.

When you collect the car we put a hold on the excess, $2,000, or $500 if you have taken the excess reduction. Drivers aged 21 to 24 need $2,500 available. It is not a payment and it never leaves your account. We release it as soon as the car comes back in one piece.
How the hold works →Worth knowing before you book
10 day minimum. Most of the fleet hires for three days or more. The truck goes from 24 hours and the motorhome has a ten-day minimum.
We take payment when you book.
Cancel within 14 days of pickup and we cannot refund the hire. Once the hire has started we do not refund unused days. If something goes wrong, give us a ring.
