Albany car hire since 1989
Cars have been hired from this corner of the North Shore since 1989. Today that is a husband and wife team, a manager who has been here fourteen years, and more than twenty vehicles we look after ourselves in our own workshop.

The questions we get asked most
How long do I have to hire for?
Three days minimum. The truck hires from 24 hours with no three-day minimum, and the motorhome has a ten-day minimum.
Do I get the exact car in the photo?
You book a make, model and year, and that is what we hold for you. If we ever have to move you, it is to a newer car, never an older one.
How old do I need to be?
Twenty-five, with a full licence. Drivers aged 21 to 24 can hire, but the bond is $2,500 and excess reduction is not available. We cannot hire to restricted licences, and that is not negotiable. It is our insurance.
What is the insurance excess?
$2,000 as standard. You can bring it down to $500 for $35 a day.
Is there a kilometre limit?
No, not on the cars, the vans or the motorhome. The truck is the one exception, at 35c a kilometre including GST.
